Cisco Introduces New CCNA, CCNP Collaboration Certification

Cisco has updated its collaboration certification education and training portfolio to include an associate level and professional level.

The company said its new Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) collaboration certifications address the convergence of voice, video, data and mobile applications in mid-sized to large networks using the latest Cisco collaboration products. The addition of the associate and professional level certifications accompany the existing Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) collaboration certification.

As a result, individuals responsible for the design, implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco collaboration products can now sign up for a complete certification career path, said the company.

Cisco added that the updates reflected the transformation of voice and video-only positions into a thing of the past as they evolve into a single, more comprehensive role within the industry.
